Bakdroom is the creation of Odette.

The ambitions entrepreneur embraced her creative side from a young age in her mother's kitchen.

 

In 2011 she completed her BSc Consumer Science degree at the North-West University of Potchefstroom, from where her passion for baking never stopped.

She is dominated by her left and right brain, which makes her an extra-ordinary combination of an analytical daydreamer.

More simple, she thrives in organised chaos!

Although most people won't agree, her husband and car can testify for this.

 

Bakdroom is not a one-woman show.

Odette has a right hand whom she calls "husband".

Thanks to Albertus' love for food and eye for perfection, the two of them guarantees a super show.

Bakdroom is still only a part time business, but the two of them aspires to make it a more permanent profession one day.
